Broad information security background including a good technical understanding, excellent interpersonal & relationship management skills, strong drive & commitment.

Experience in as many of the following as possible: Security policy Compliance, Security Awareness programs, Risk Assessment, Penetration Testing, security best practices, monitoring of accounts, security investigations/incident management, managing security patches. CISSP qualified advantege.

Useful: ISO17799, Web Server security, Firewalls, networks, encryption, PKI, TCP/IP, Unix, Windows, legal/regulatory issues, IT audit.

 

 

We are looking for a Senior Security Engineer to provide 2nd line operational security support. The role will involve the testing, reviewing, documenting, implementing and troubleshooting the designed technical solution, which will include working as a senior member of the security team.
The ideal candidate will be creative, a highly self-motivated, problem solver with a proven ability to analyze and focus on the details without losing sight of the big picture. An element of the role will also involve speaking with customers, so good communication and interpersonal skills are essential.

The essential requirements are: at least 3 years experience or proven knowledge in Firewall implementation and management in a corporate environment, in depth knowledge of Firewall technologies - especially CheckPoint, Cisco PIX, Nokia and Fortigate. Proven Security architecture experience, including industry best practices and generally accepted information security principles (IE defence in depth, protection of the weakest link, etc), detailed/in-depth network knowledge and protocol debugging skills, deep Unix, Linux and Windows operating system knowledge, in-depth protocol knowledge of TCP/IP, TLS 2.0, HTTP, IPSec, SSH, SSL Version 3, H.323, in-depth encryption algorithm knowledge.
